Connectivity And Network Infrastructure
RagaNet invests in high-speed telecommunications infrastructure in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. The Raga Group has already invested significantly in satellite connectivity through the presence of a teleport in Kinshasa.
The long-term vision for RagaNet is to increase the overall penetration of high-speed internet in the city of Kinshasa by investing heavily in the basic infrastructure segment. As the Internet is a global lever for development, the project would ultimately bring multiple secondary benefits.
RagaNet therefore is building a metropolitan fiber optic network, which is available exclusively to mobile operators (MNO) and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) on a wholesale model. RagaNet is therefore positioned as a neutral operator of shared infrastructures.
